I've loved this entire series and couldn't wait to read this final book. It definitely didn't disappoint, but now I'm grieving the end of a magnificent story. You can't help but fall in love with Tristan and Issylte's characters and root for their success as they endure hardships, battle to save King Marke, and reclaim their crowns from The Shadow Queen and her minions. Tristan and Issylte's passionate romance combined with magic, adventure, and hard-fought battles make for a well-plotted and well-executed story that comes to life before your eyes. I sincerely hope more fans of romantic fantasy and fairy tale retellings come across these books as they are a real gem.
