A childhood favourite of mine that I still fondly remember reading. I still have my copy and sometimes think I should re-read it but I don't want to take away from the lovely memories of reading it many years ago.

I really wanted to like this book more since I adore otters, however it quickly became a repetitive story of otters eating, fighting, playing, fending off predators. This repeated over and over again. I finally skimmed the last third of the book.

If I ever pick this book up again, I'm asking my friends to either smack me a couple times and remind me how much I hated it the first time around, or snatch it from my hands and throwing it into a pit of fire.

Yeah....I didn't like it.
