What the heck?!? Seriously Lauren Oliver, Seriously? Okay, so I was reading this, ready to turn to the next chapter, and I realized the book had ended. Are you kidding me?! The ending was very well done. I thought the writing style was okay; not as good as Delirium's because it was choppy at parts, but it was great. It was great to get to see everything from Lena's Mom's POV. :D

This was a pretty fantastic addition to the Delirium trilogy. Lena's mother was always a big mystery : even after reading Requiem, I still had a lot of questions about her. This story answered a lot of them and helped explain even more. I really enjoyed Annabel's perspective. However, there was one thing that kind of... I don't know...bugged me I guess and that was that it seemed that Annabel loved Lena more than Rachel, her other daughter. She compared the two daughters often and made Lena appear better, sweeter, and cuter than Rachel. At one point, she said something that made it sound like she had kind of given up on Rachel since she had already been cured. Well other than that one thing, I really loved this story :) It was a wonderful story.

This is a short novella from annabel's point of view (her current situation and her past). We find out how lena's parents met and also find out the type of person she is. She is not to be trifled with, she LOVES her daughters!

She's tough and strong and determined--and also fragile and loving. Strange what love can do.

I thought we were going to get more about how Annabel became a key player in the Resistance. I did like hearing about how she fell in love and met her match. I was sad that it ended!

The story of Lena's mother gave us a little more insight into the original story as well as into how Lena's parents fell in love - or rather how her mother fell in love, considering her father was "cured". I really appreciated that it wasn't too long and overdone.

I recommend this one to everyone who's read [b:Delirium|11614718|Delirium (Delirium, #1)|Lauren Oliver|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1327890411l/11614718._SX50_.jpg|10342808] and liked it.
