4 stars for "A Christmas Carol" which was a re-read for me. 3 stars for the other stories in this collection which were entertaining but not as compelling as "A Christmas Carol."

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed A Christmas Carol, it was enjoyable to study for the OU A111 course.

A Christmas Carol is definitely five stars… The rest of the stories in this are mixed for me. The chapters from The Pickwick Papers “A Good Humored Christmas” are quite enjoyable and “a Christmas Dinner” was pretty good, but a Christmas tree was rather dull.

A Christmas Carol is a classic, and one of my favorite holiday-themed stories. That being said, I really did not enjoy the other two stories in this collection. I give those stories 2 stars each, and the collection overall 3 stars.
