Thanks to the author for an ARC copy of this book.
First of all, this book is the first one by the author that I've read and even though is the third one in a series, it can be read as a standalone without any problem.

Claudia is a recent divorce that in order to start a new life, she moves from NYC to Twin Forks, there, she meets Jamie, a younger man, ex football player that she had previously seen on a dating app and he left an impression on her.
The attraction that they have is palpable since the first time they met, however, after Claudia learns that Jamie is a flirt, she's scared of letting him know about the crush she has on him being afraid is not corresponded.

The story is emotional, fun and hot, I really enjoyed reading it and the fact that it has several tropes that I love (age gap and small town), made it a fast read. I also found the characters really interesting and deep, which is not usual in short-ish books.
I definitely will read the rest of the series because I want to know more about Claudia's friends and their HEAs
