Ok I’ll give it to Sartre that he makes the subtlety of the subject come through very well — the examples he gives are relatable and transcendent, it illustrates to show that what he was writing about penetrates almost every aspect of our lives. I wanted to strangle myself many times while reading this, but I guess the complexity of the text just goes to show the complexity of what he was talking about.
