A very interesting book about the most difficult, interesting and exciting lottery called genetics. About the reasons, a little about history, about various mutations. A little about how people can fight these diseases. Of course, mutations are different, some impose some inconvenience, but a number of mutations simply kill at the very beginning. An interesting quote from the book:
"We are all mutants, just someone more, and someone is less"

The book has some illustrations that can shock, but there are few of them. But in general, very informative, interesting, informative. The book is also suitable for those who are quite far from genetics and biology. The terminology is available in an understandable language.
Ps. The truth is to make a reservation that I read this book translated into Russian.

I'm not going to pretend that I was smart enough to retain most of this book. It was really good, though. Really informative. All kinds of amazing stories!

As I tell all and sundry, I do not science. Despite this, I enjoyed this book. The first few chapters, introducing the complex world of genes and hormones, were hard to get through, but once the groundwork was laid, the fascinating stories commenced. If you want to understand the workings of our bodies and the limitations of science, check this one out.
