Not a typical zombie apocalypse story, although there are "freaks" from the worldwide virus. Better than 3-star, not quite a 4-star. And the book could use a good editor. The author has a real problem with not using possessive apostrophes. Every time I run into one, it takes me out of the story, even if only for a moment. I also wasn't happy where the story ended. I'm assuming there will be a sequel.
