I think the draw of this book for me were Tao’s chapters but I absolutely hate that two boring self-serving white men are the other two protagonists in this novel.
SpoilerI also hate that those same two boring self-serving white men who are both deeply misogynistic and harbor a deep resentment for their wives are the “heroes” of this novel.
It was an interesting theory and novel but…idk ultimately I was pretty disappointed with it.
