This lovely nonfiction picture book explores prenatal development in a scientifically accurate and child-appropriate way. The book shows the sperm and egg meeting without addressing sex, and then shows the process of fetal development. The note at the end also briefly explains the birth process, using anatomically accurate terms without being graphic.
