I really love Finn. We finally get to see him in action. Maybe he'll get a spin off series of his own hmm?? :D

As much fun as it is to be inside Finnegan Lane's head, this one was a bit OTT for me.
Finn was just a little too much himself, and that was before it ended with him calling Sophia to clean up his mess . . .
His mess was the several dead bank robbers he killed at the bank in the middle of the robbery, the last two in the presence of his bank manager--how's Sophia gonna make that go away?
But regardless of my inability to suspend disbelief, it was also a good introduction to what comes next.
PLUS, you know, FINN.

This was a very short story set in the Gin Blanco universe and told from Finnegan Lane's point of view. The purpose of the story was to showcase how similar Finn really is to Gin, and set up events for [b:Venom|7614747|Venom (Elemental Assassin, #3)|Jennifer Estep|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1269891027s/7614747.jpg|10074436]. I liked the insight into Finn's character, and seeing how one of the changes affected him. I'm interested in seeing where things go from here!

Series: Elemental Assassin #2.7
Rating: 3 stars - I liked it
A very short scene showing how dangerous Finn can be. I like that we get to see the dangerous side of him and what Fletcher taught him. Also, I like Xavier a lot and hope we see more of him in the future.

Story from Finnegan Lane's point of view. Gin is barely mentioned. Gives a little more insight into his character. He's a man-whore, but he's almost as big a bad ass as she is.

This was a fun story told from Finn's point-of-view. It gave us the mentioned scene in [b:Venom|7614747|Venom (Elemental Assassin, #3)|Jennifer Estep|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1269891027s/7614747.jpg|10074436] when Finn mentioned that Xavier came to him about Roslyn's problem. :-)
It also involved a bank robbery! :-)
The chief robber, though, needed to do better research. Because ;-)
"Finn Stories" are always such fun! I really enjoyed this one. :-)

Finn's bank is Finn's bank, not the manager's. And bruising his ego set him on her trail."Finn Stories" are always such fun! I really enjoyed this one. :-)

I love how it ends with Finn all mournful but then practical and calling Sophia. One of the most amusing short stories.
