This was an easy read and entertaining enough; it just didn't really do anything special for me. Far and way the strength of this book was the characterization. The characters were quirky and unique, particularly the character of Sam. Murder mystery isn't my prime genre of choice, but the murder plot was different enough to hold my interest. Above all, there were these little bitty bits of biting and sarcastic humor sprinkled throughout that kept the story light. If you're into quirky mysteries with strong female leads, this is most definitely the book for you.
