What a great quick read! We met Seth in the Heart Break series and I was hoping this widowed single dad would get his HEA. I loved Ari….she has such a big heart to have experienced such heartbreak and misery. And little Sadie is just the best! So easy to fall in love with this big ole family!

I loved Seth in Avery Maxwell's Westbrooks Broken Hearts series so I was really happy that he got his own story.
Seth and Ari’s story hits the spot perfectly - its heart-warming, funny, low angst and full of Westbrook love. Seth struggles with his feelings for Ari since he has commitments and promises past; I may have shed a tear when the guys support him through this. I am so glad that Ari is adopted into the Westbrook family, feeling the love and support that she had been missing. I look forward to watching their relationship develop further during the rest of the series. There is a small hint at an intriguing situation that could appear during the rest of the series.

Seth- he is one of the "adopted" Westbrooks. He has worked with Ashton and Loki trying to take down crime families. Has a daughter and was widowed at a young age. Goes to Vermont to help GG with her resort and falls in love with the FMC. Has a little Cinderella vibe to it.

Things I did not like:
Insta-love
Seth seems to still love his dead wife
Did not like how they had Sadie talk
Random love scene on a hike while the FMC has a hurt ankle

Things I did like:
The idea of Chosen family

TW:
abusive family
violence
depression

I was fortunate enough to get an advanced copy of this book and I’ve never been so excited about one. Coming off of Avery’s Broken Hearts Series, I felt like I wasn’t finished learning about this chosen family so I’m glad that Avery wasn’t done telling us about them.

This first novella is about Seth one of the many adopted Westbrooks. Seth is a character that I fell in love with because even though some of the Westbrooks had their doubts about him and his motives in the first series, they all came to realize that he was fully devoted to Loki and brought him into the family.

Seth is a single dad, trying to do his best to make his daughter happy. It was adorable to see how much she loves the Westbrooks and even Seth can’t deny her that happiness so he accepts that he is forever joined with this loud family.

In doing so, he is volunteered to help them, help GG. Oh man that woman! I love her so much! It’s in helping GG that he meets Ari. I love their connection from the very start! Their lives are different, but they each come to realize what they can do for the other and it becomes love.

The story is sweet. But you still get all the feels. Laughing, crying, wanting to punch people! In short, Seth and Ari are so stinking cute and you really need to read it for yourself!

GG does it again

Welcome to the chaos Ari! I fell for Seth when he stood by Lexi and I'm so happy to see his story. He and Sadie deserve their happily ever after. ❤️

Adorable start to the Westbrook Brothers Series. I really enjoyed Seth in Loki's book and love that we got a deeper dive into his life. This book was entirely too short for me and I just wanted more of Seth and Ari (and Sadie's) story!

I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series and seeing Seth into this adopted family!
