What can I say? It's a cute little story and it's filled with fluffy storylines. It has adorable art and a charming cast of characters. I would recommend this little series to anyone looking for a little cozy read.

Crying score: not this time

I have to admit, this book was difficult to get into.  It was a long read and I struggled with it in the beginning.  When it got to Senior year, I was able to finally get into the story.  All the lingo and slang made it difficult to attach to the story.  I think the first book in this series was much better.

However, I really did love the ending.  It made up for the beginning of the book.  I was going to give this two stars until the last 50 pages of the story of so.  I also like Bittie as a character.  I love his baking and he and Jack make a great couple.

I'm glad I finished the series.  It was cute.  It's a long graphic novel, over 300 pages.  Nothing wrong with that, just sharing.

The only thing else I have to say about this is the fact that in this book there is a webcomic that didn't exist online. I bought this book just so I could physically hold it and I was reading it aloud to a friend and I get to the Kent Parson chapter and I freaked out because I had never seen it before and I didn't know it existed. I am still in shock and I have no idea why it wasn't online, but I am just happy it existed because it added so much to the story and to Kent's character.

Bitty is just as charming as I remember, and his time at Samwell wraps up nice and neat. I did dock this book a star though because I had a bit of a hard time keeping the secondary characters straight. I wish that I had read Book 1 again to give me the recap that this volume doesn't provide.

Re-read again a few days later after also re-reading Book 1. Book 2 was much more enjoyable for me once I had my bearings back.
