Omg. This is a great start to a series. I think the author does a fantastic job with building suspense and writing fun banter. There's plenty of spice starting in the second half and the spice is well done. Ok, so the title is a teeny tiny wee bit misleading and it takes quite a while before you're clued into how it fits.

this was good! i liked the characters, i thought they were good together, and i liked both of them. all the conflicts made sense. a very solid historical romance
