This was...fine. Read in two chunks when my library loan expired because this is not the gripping novel that will make you read it in one or two sittings. Pleasant enough; I couldn’t keep track of the money referenced in the title of each of the chapters and I could have not cared less about the ins and outs of beer making. Alas!

I probably go to the Richard-Russo-but-Midwestern comparison well too frequently (Nickolas Butler, Leif Enger, etc), but this novel REALLY felt like a Russo novel...but with beer. Loved all the name-dropping of Midwestern craft breweries. And it’s just overall a delightful story.

Cute, light and full of Midwestern and beer references. A fun summer read!

I listened to this partially on Audible and sort of wish I hadn't. I was not a big fan of the reader. Th I book, however, was charming and sweet.

I absolutely loved this book! The writing was amazing. As I read more and more, I became very obsessed with the lives of both sisters. And I became more enthralled with beer. In addition the niece/granddaughter was a highlight character for me. This is a must read!
