Pieces starts out full of drama, which means I was hooked off the bat. I have to give mad props to Crawford for sucking me in so fast, usually things have to sort of grow on me.
I like Katie a lot and Crawford, who usually struggles a bit with good continuity does a great job of melding the respective groups of friends together here, even juggling them across two states.
There’s action, romance and some great pictures painted - she did a great job with this one and if you’ve been reading her all along, you can really see her strengthening her craft in this one.
Really well done. 4 stars.
