Pretty anticlimactic for a final volume. No wonder they had to release a secret 17th one.

- This was such a comfort read. Whenever I felt low, I used to read the Horimiya series, wrap myself all warm and cozy under my blanket, and giggle to myself.ðŸ˜
- I kept putting off finishing such a masterpiece because I couldn't bring myself to do it. Reading the previous volume caused a lump in my throat. There’s no doubt I’ll be rereading this series throughout the years.
- Why is it unique compared to other manga? The ability to connect with both the main characters and the supporting cast is my favorite aspect of this book that sets it apart from the other mangas. Truly, the most realistic high school manga.
- The characters are so stupid, goofy, and dumb. Reading this series made me feel as though I belonged there and shared a large friendship group with the characters
The art style is pretty and comfortable to read.
- Cherry on top: The character development of the characters and their relationships with each other is the best thing ever. I like how, towards the end of the series, they focused more on the plot and silly moments rather than revolving only around development. Icing on the cake moment, frfr

OMGNFJSKHDFK I JUST FINISHED HORIMIYA <3
1) this was TOO cute!!!
especially the art styleeeee
2) I LOVE THEIR FRIEND GROUP SMMMM
their relations are so special and they all go so well together
hori + miya = fav couples ever
3) hilarious.
i swear i laugh out loud at least 2x for each vol
+ taking the jokes out-of-content make it way funnier
{took ss for my favs and i have more than 50 ??}
4) so easy to connect to!
i related to way more than i thought!
i loved see the parts of yuki and miyamura (and sawada) that i shared.
5) love.
kinda biased since i am in a shoujo phase rn but,,,
i enjoyed those love scenes more than i thought & tbh made my heart flutter toooo
AND.
i love that it was lighter & more focused on the small moments of their high school experience!
although, there were plenty of past vs present "conflicts" + events that they overcame and grew from.
wish i could read more about them post-high school :(
