This book was really cute! I haven't tapped into young adult in a bit and I just liked how easy it was to read for that reason. One thing I think this book did really well was the transitions and easing back and forth between the romance between the two main characters and their own personal/familial issues. I felt that is was a very accurate and intentional depiction.
For the romance between Alex and Molly, it wasn't super slow burn, but it still took till the very end of the book for both characters to confess to each other. The subtle hints that they were falling for each other was placed nicely so that the end wasn't a surprise, but it definitely built tension and sustained angst.

This is such a sweet sapphic romance! Molly has a crush on a girl from high school and Molly is determined to date her, now that they are going to the same college. The only problem is she has no social skills… In comes Alex, a notorious flirt. Alex has made it her mission to help Molly get the girl and teach her confidence. My favorite part about this book was that there was no homophobia mentioned, these women have issues in their life but they are comfortable in their sexuality and no one is bothered by it. It gives me hope for the future.

I relate to Alex's avoidant ass that I can't help but liking her. Plot is pretty meh, but the characters are alright.

Definitely really enjoyed this one! The narrators did a great job in my opinion, they did distinct voices for the different characters and the pacing was done well too.

The story was good and definitely made me invested in the (main) characters and the development. Binged it in nearly one go, because I couldn't hit pause except for sleep ;p
Would certainly recommend this to others, with the recommendation to check the content warnings first.

oh my gosh 😭 literally what.

the way i loved this book, like it's actually not funny. i am a hopeless romantic 100%. i eat up the cute little moments. this book was everything to me. i loved the plot, the characters; EVERYTHING.

i loved how Alex's story was told. I loved the character development. I loved the small, cute, fluffy moments Molly and Alex would have. I loved the plot/trope. I loved the slow burn. i loved this book so much, like actually.

one thing about me is, when i read, i paint a movie in my mind. i feel like i just watched the most cutest and funniest story ever, it's so crazy what your imagination can do.

anyway, if you're a teen or just someone who loves all the cheesy romance books without the spice (tho it had very suggestive moments but only 3 times) I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK
