I was excited to read the third installment and hoped it would move the story on somewhat. I know it is a slow burn story but part of it feels really dragging. I noticed inconsistencies in the story, while it may seem silly but forgetting what colour your character's hair seems a little sad. I know the series is written by different people but you could really feel the difference in this one. There were also errors down to misspelling characters names and some others that were clearly overlooked in editing. It may seem pathetic to some but it ruined it for me.
I wasn't a fan of how Jaxon's character has changed from a nice caring guy, to a really horrible violent one. I can only assume here there is going to be some "he was possessed" type storyline, otherwise his change in character is really unfortunate.
The story this time was ok, it does feel like it is really being dragged out though. Madison still needs to finish up what Giselle started and help the stone people and discover what happened to her little roommate Zoey who has disappeared and no one else really seems to care or bothered by. This time the foursome becomes a trio as Jaxon wants no part in it. Can they help Damon and save Zoey???

This is a series. Each book that I have read you could read as a stand alone book. I liked this one because there is a lot of questions and a lot of answers. The characters are good and I enjoyed reading the book. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I would highly recommend it.
