This only reason I’m giving it 2 stars and not one, is because of the ending. Granted, the ending could of been in Hopeless

It’s been so long since I read Hopeless, I forgot how heartbreaking the ending was. I remembered what happened but remembering and reading it are two different things. It hurt my heart to go through that again.

I enjoyed Sky’s perspective more. I don’t feel like Holders book was paced in the best way, but it was still a great read. Just left me feeling a bit empty afterwards despite the happy ending.

AMAZING.

**5~stars**

I don’t even know where to begin with this review… It had been a while since I’d read Hopeless, and Losing Hope brought me right back! Sucked me in so deep, I felt as if I never left. By the time I got to 3% I was already losing it. Tissues at the near and ready. A friend told me to read alone, and I did. I was a complete mess. In every way! This book will pull at your every emotion, and tug HARD at your deeply rooted heart strings.

Holder, Holder, Holder….. Aghhhhhh! The stuff I feel for this guy is like that of a real life friend. I wanted to call him and console him, give him advice etc… I know it sounds silly, but it’s sooooo true! Colleen knows how to make you really fall in love with her characters BIG TIME! I love male POV’s in books, but not so much when it’s a WHOLE book. I can count on my hand how many male POV books I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. There are two… This is one of them!

So the story goes right into heart wrenching the minute you start. Everything that goes on with Lesslie, His sister… just made me crumble inside. It was hard enough the first time in Hopeless, His feeling of guilt overcomes you, consumes you in every way. That letter about Hope Gaaaaahhhhhhh…. I was wrecked. And How Lesslie couldn’t wear the bracelet again after she saw Hope…. Uggh, I know I’m talking in circles now, but that’s what this book does to you! Your mind will go every-which-way, right along with your heart…

FYI… Hope is Sky, and Sky is Hope… If you’re confused, then you haven’t read Hopeless… Make a quick U-turn and remedy that! Like now! Don’t read Losing Hope until you’ve read Hopeless. This is usually a given, but you never know…

“She’s okay and you walking away from her that day was the best thing you could have done for her. As far as me, well… I’m a lost cause.”

“You have no idea how many times you’ve already saved me”

Oh Les….

Holder & Sky… What to say about these two… Knowing their story already, and seeing it from Holder’s pov was complete closure for me. The overwhelming drama of Holder realizing who Sky is, and the extreme passion he has in order to protect her is truly beautiful. To watch him struggle through the pages, and forge a way to forgive himself was just so real for me. This book is really about finding beauty from pain and moving on from that. The chemistry and love that is shared is so monumental, it’s hard to form words to describe.
So I’m done. I wanted to write a big Ol honkin huge review, but I cant. I just cant.
Go read this book.. Colleen Hoover is a genius.

That’s all. <3

Wasn’t a big fan. Was essentially the first book just put in holders eyes and my attention span was not for it. I only made it about 33% into the book before I just couldn’t do it anymore

4.5 ⭐️ I love Holder’s and Sky’s story, but at times this book felt very very redundant as he was retelling the same scenes from Hopeless. It’s still amazing though.

This book deserves 100000000000000000000000000000+ stars. It was emotional, heartbreaking, amazing, beautiful. I love this book. And Hopeless. And now I love them even more, and I didn't think loving Hopeless more was even possible.

I was a bit skeptical about reading this book. Hopeless is my all-time favorite book. I was worried that reading Losing Hope would somehow ruin or make Hopeless appear dull or this book would make Hopeless seem awful. Or the story would get old. But I couldn't have been more wrong.

Colleen Hoover is one of the best writers out there. She took a story I loved and characters I love and adore and retold their story. In a way that made me fall even more in love with the story and characters. The story felt fresh and almost like I was reading it for the first time. Sky/Hope and Holder are now firmly cemented in my heart, more than they used to be.

Words fail describing this book. It's worth the money. It's worth reading. It's worth the parts of your heart that die and break and shatter as you read it. And it's worth the way it pieces your heart and soul back together.
