Josie and Becky are best friends. They have a sleep over and plan to go to the state fair the next day, until the unthinkable happens. 

Wylie is snowed in at a farmhouse to finish her book. She finds a boy outside in the cold. Where did he come from? 

Every time I thought I had a part of this story figured out, there was another twist. So good! Will definitely be reading more from this author.

An entertaining read. Intriguing concept but it didn't feel very "locked room" as the synopsis would lead me to believe with all the shifting perspectives.

This was a good, easy to read thriller. I was nervous about following all of the characters develop initially but found the story quickly easy to follow based on the timelines and those other chapters. The child abuse aspect was more prominent and unsettling than I imagined, so be aware of that.

This was a solid thriller! It had quick chapters and a decent mystery but was relatively easy to guess the ending. The italics chapters give too much away and would’ve been beneficial to have in different parts of the book. The ending was a little unbelievable which took me out of the read. Overall, a good read and I enjoyed it.

Halfway through it was predictable. And the action scenes at the end were a little cringey and repetitive.
