Charming simple stories with lessons presented in a way that is not sanctimonious or preachy. Simple effective writing that builds vocabulary in a gentle easy way. Enjoyable as a goodnight reading for youngsters or to have them read to you.

A classic and beloved tale for a reason. I’ve never actually sat and read Winnie the Pooh. We’ve always watched the movies but after reading it now, every child should be read the tales from the Hundred Acre Woods. I was smiling the entire time. And certain lines got quite a few chuckles out of me. This book is filled with innocent childlike humor and the friendships are hilariously sarcastic. I am so impressed with the humor and how it was added into the story. Cannot wait to continue reading about Pooh and friends <3

The non-Disney version of Winnie-the-Pooh and friends is just adorable and funny. Neva is only 2 months old, so we may have to re-read this sometime later.

A cute book, glad I got to listen to it. Even though I have to say I love the movies and show more.

I think I would like to do a whole unit on Classics with my 5th graders (someday) and definitely want to include this one but I can see how some of the language would be tricky for language learners... so I will need some additional copies in additional languages, and a solid outline for discussion... and some support for addressing what Eeyore is (a pessimist seems too general).
