The last 2.5 hours saved the book for me. Incredibly slow paced and I found myself very frustrated with Pip on more than one occasion. Even though I’m not convinced this book isn’t sponsored by DARE… the plot twists at the end were very solid. 

I do think I would’ve enjoyed the first 50 percent of the book more if I’d read it before I started grappling with the ethics of true crime.

I was enjoying this book up until the ending I really didn’t like where it went. I feel like there were a lot of other better options. 

The dog did not need to die, and so carelessly!

This book is amazing. I love the pacing of it and obviously the mystery. It was a good mix of twists and turns and actual discoveries. It also leaves some loose threads in what the MC found that I hope is tied off in the next books. It was really good overall and definitely deserves the hype.
