Two stories in this issue. The first is very much a 'Trigger's Broom' situation and I could see where it was heading quite early on.
The second was a gorgeous story of love and defiance against adversity and persecution. The artwork and story in this is beautiful and evocative.

This comic tells two simple and satisfying short stories! The first gives some history about Andy while showing how her long life affects the way she remembers things. The second is a slightly more intense story that captures the characters of Joe and Nicky perfectly while also including some adorable couple moments from them. Highly recommend, I’m excited to read the other issues!!

Be gay, do crime. A bitter-sweet glimpse into their story set in Germany, between the wars. History was not kind to queer people, but still, Joe and Nicky persevere.
