I enjoyed it, but nothing stood out to me. I didn't find myself rooting for the main characters either, if anything, I was more frustrated with Fitz's indecisiveness.
I somehow also managed to find this book never-ending, while feeling like it was coming to a close every last few chapters I read.
I just felt like the plot was lacking in some way.

Lordy Lordy this took me a hot minute to finish.

It’s a shame that the first three Off Campus series are so good but then the rest of the series falls flat. For me, The Score is the last book in this series to really reel me in. That being said, the rest of the series is still enjoyable just not as much so.

This book, for example, felt like I was dragging my feet to finish reading it. I have read it once before, this is my first reread, but I vaguely remember struggling through it then too.

Summer, though funny, is just not my kind of FMC. The whole ‘inner Selena Gomez’ thing I found really cheesy and cringey. Colin was decent, but he just doesn’t get the heart racing in the same way Logan, Garrett, Dean and Ryder do.

Definitely worth a read but I don’t think I’ll ever reread this one again.

I liked the relationship between Summer and Fitz and i really liked the fact that there were characters from the off campus series. ( that summer is the sister of dean ). I’m not sure if i’m going to read the rest of the briar u series but i will consider it.

When I found out about that Elle is writing a spin off series to the off campus Series I was so exited because I really loved the off campus series.
They other reason I had been exited for this book was that Summer was one of my favorite characters in the Score and I wanted to now what’s up in her mind.
I‘m so happy to say that I really enjoyed this book even it was more serious in my eyes. That doesn’t mean that the other books Elle wasn’t talking about serious themes in her other books but I felt drawn to Summer in a really special way.
I really like the way in that story developed because from the Beginning I was able to see that there is a lot of room for character development in this Story .
Elle also showed talent in writing scenes in wich I burst out laughing. Even this book was more serious there also had been a lot funny scenes.
Elle’s style of writing was grate to read it made me addictive to do the words it was so hard to put this book down.
A fact I enjoyed also that we meet so many characters from the other books. Because this Sidecharcters and the new ones fit in the story and every time they appeared it felt right for me.

Summer was a really strong female main character. She knows what here rights are and how she can fight for them. Also she has a lot of possible tbr energy and is unable to forget I really liked her humor.

Fitzy was an intelligent young man who wasn’t a big talker but also he was also introverted. But he is so sweet a d funny in his one way.

If you want a college romance with a strong female main character and also a book about friendship then you this good for you. From me it gets five stars.
