This is easily the worst book I have ever read in my entire life. Jeneva Rose blew everyone out of the water with this, even Colleen Hoover!
There was absolutely zero research on the law or the police force. One episode of Law & Order was watched to complete this monstrosity of a novel. I am glad that this was free and I did not pay for it because that would have been a complete waste of my working girl money.
Here is a list of everything that I was confused about and/or also hated about this book:

Here is a list of everything that I was confused about and/or also hated about this book:
- The way Adam describes women
- He only sees them as sex objects and he has a one-track mind when it comes to any woman
- He kisses people for no reason and harassed them numerous times, it was sickening
- Adam Morgan is a literal monster
- He attempts to justify cheating on Sarah (which seeing how Sarah ends up, he shouldn't have)
- Adam is a complete and utter shame to any good man that has ever existed in all of human existence
- His drinking problem becomes a main aspect of the story for literally no reason. This novel consisted of a full chapter of him drinking, only for it to lead absolutely nowhere.
- He has NOOO brain!
- This man does stupid stuff for no reason - why do you trust every single person that steps into your life? You should know yourself what a trustworthy person is not based on your own personality.
- Adam, you can't even trust yourself, bro.
- The worst plot twist I have ever read.
- Think about any one character and it is probably them.
- Happened in the last ten pages.
- I hate Sarah.
- Each and every single one of these characters needs psychological help
- Most of them are obvious, including, Adam, Sarah, Anne
- Honorable mentions: Eleanor, Matthew, Bob, all of the police officers, Kelly, Scott, Rebecca
- Random flashbacks
- Details of Sarah being rich
- Adam's failed writing career
- How long does this story go on? Like in a sense of time.
- Useless characters and metaphors
- Everyone sounds and looks the same
- Adam escaping
- Ants and nature
- No man can keep it in his pants
- Again, the plot twist
- The four-in-one murders
- Kelly
- The end of it
- Robert Miller
- Sarah mentions her being the best attorney and then she turns around and becomes the worst one by every second
- her unprofessionalism
- her terrible character
- unreliable narrator, worse than Adam
- wanting to have sex with every man in the book
- uses her sex appeal to her advantage, but then embarrasses herself because it never works and she looks bad
- NO man is worth this and she knows it
I hope no one suffers as much as I did by reading this!
