I liked this book more than I thought I would. I've been meaning to read it for years and I'm so glad I finally did.

cute, lighthearted read (despite homophobia being a major factor influencing the plot) set in a liberal's utopic usa and uk.

i haven't just read a book as pure escapism for such a LONG time but i did and this book made me smile so so so so so much! queer love and representation is always beautiful to read about, even if in the really really weird us/uk political relation jam where a royal and presidential fam get together. the GRIN i have had on my face whilst reading and obviously after the ending (secretly a sucker for love i can't lie) is just so nice and rachel i am forever in your debt for the recommendation!!! would most definitely recommend this one as a fun little read, definitely lightened up the darkness of some of this laidlaw work!
