Have you ever read fanfiction before? Have you ever fallen headfirst into a smutty romance novel? This book might be for you. I absolutely loved this stupid book. It felt like you could swap out the characters for ANY OTHER gay ship and just sail it out to sea.

I loved how you got to see their relationship grow and I love a book that features written correspondence. You got an epistolary there? Sign me up.

I will reread this book probably more than once because I am a goblin.

Cheesy, sappy, a little hug of hope. I can agree with some reviewers who wrote that this book isn’t realistic, and that the politics are pushy. I didn’t come to this book for a roadmap to international relations, though; I wanted a fairytale. And a fairytale I got. An all-around feel good book that I’ll return to for years to come.
