I don't think many of the chapters in this book is applicable today (like personal advertisements, phone calls or using beepers). Otherwise, there's a lot to learn from here on creating personal boundaries and ensuring the man actually loves you before you jump in head first.
Some may think it's a bit too sexist and old fashioned but knowing that it's all about being with someone who *actually* loves you (rather than just being in a one-sided relationship), I didn't totally hate it.

Read this as research for an essay and Jesus fucking Christ. What a bleak ass take on womanhood. Heterosexuality is a curse. Objectively hilarious read though.

The book has some really nice tips and a lot of useful advices. Too bad it also contains too much nonsense and loads of bragging.

My general impression on the book is "Let's turn ourselves into a mysterious charming creature and give men so much challenging they wouldn't be able to resist us". Not a bad strategy, but not a winning strategy either. Especially not when you're not that woman and you DON'T WANT to become one. No, you don't make yourself happy and live happily ever after by pretending to be someone you're not, you're literally killing yourself from the inside out.

So, in short, read the book, if you so choose, but use your own judgement to decide what to do and what not to do. (Honestly, ignore all the bragging, it's not worth your time)
