Probably Brandon Mulls' best series

My family and I have read his Fablehaven and Dragonwatch and Candy Shop Wars series, and for me this is his best work. The character development is top notch, the suspense and plot twists - impeccable. The world building, too! So great! The only caveat I have is that the books, especially the last in the series, has a number of violent/scary scenes. I'd recommend this series for ages 10 and up.

I love these books, I've read them multiple times. They're written so well you really get drawn into the story from the beginning

Beautiful, amazing, fun, adventurous, sad, sad and so sad. Overall rating: 4.0 stars (although if it was subjective I would definitely give it more lol)

Links to the reviews of the books of the series:

I have nothing to add to those reviews, especially the review of the third book which was just emotional. I also recommend this series to everyone, read it, it is very worth your time :)

I didn't think the villain was as good as Fablehaven's, but still a solid romp.
