jenson button is the joan didion of f1?! jokes aside, i loved the perspective it brought to f1 and mostly the "insider" look into the lifestyle. in jenson button fashion, the book has a lighthearted tone and is so silly. maybe i do know wheel...

This is the first non-fiction book I’ve ever finished so I’m pretty proud of myself for that but also i really enjoyed it. It was interesting and has made me want to read more books similar to this. Would recommend unless you don’t like f1 but that’s kinda obvious.

JB's conversational writing style makes for an enjoyable pull-back-the-curtain look at what it takes to be an F1 driver. Not that I'll ever be an F1 driver, of course. But this book did give me a new life goal - creating my own Super Monday in Monaco.

A quick, pleasurable read for F1 superfans and those with a passing interest in motorsport alike.

more so than any other f1 book (other than maybeeee button's own autobiography) this book gives you a vital understanding of formula 1. coming directly from a driver, you learn things about the sport that you would have no idea about otherwise, in all sorts of ways. i especially enjoyed the technological aspects, as a bit of a physics nerd, because in all of the other books i've read it's hard to understand. button breaks it down and makes it easily understandable for just a regular person. would def recommend.
