I liked this one! It does have a cliffhanger ending (a little predictable of one) but I'm still excited for book 2!

The magic system was interesting, Riley's powers especially. I laughed at some of the things she accidentally did.

Riley and the supporting characters were great! They were fun in their owns ways, and I enjoyed getting to know them a little. This is a why choose story, and in this world no one bats an eye, and why would you with these three men wanting you? There's still so much to learn about each character, and James, too.

A great read. I'm excited for more!

This was such a wild ride and I loved every minute of it! This is my first book where there are multiple MMC but I was very surprised to fall in love with everyone. Cannot wait for the next one!

Roxy, I'm going to need the next book ASAP! I just finished it and I'm dying for more! I loved every single moment of Broken Lands. Riley's Journey from living a normal mundane life, to finding out she may have be some sort of Fae with magic was exhilarating!  The characters were wildly unique and the why choose aspect between Stefan, Lincoln and Colin was thrilling. Seriously, the way Riley talked about General Brand had me laughing and blushing at the same time. I'm telling y'all now that if you enjoy a good fantasy book with magic, Fae's and spice, then you're going to want to read this! There were so many moments I loved that the list would go on and on so you've gotta read it yourself.

“Losing him had already become an unfathomable thought.”

If you’re looking for an action packed book with fae, elemental magic, and hidden identity, you should check out Broken Lands by Roxy Leigh. This book, especially that cliffhanger, will have you wanting more!

The plot was extremely interesting. As Riley searches for her brother who has gone missing, she discovers secrets about herself that she didn’t know before. Her character growth is very good. She quickly adapts to her powers, even though it is difficult for her. The three men (Lincoln, Colin, and Stefan) that she falls for are so fun. They each have distinct personalities and readers will definitely fall for them.

I’m excited to see where the author takes the story after that cliffhanger. I think the next book will be really interesting and will help readers understand Riley, Lincoln, Stefan, and Colin even more!!!

This was quite an interesting read. Dystopian, faes, spicy scenes, revolution, talking swords, a prophecy, monsters…you get it all!

I give it 4.5 stars out of 5.

I loved that Riley had several mates and got several spicy scenes. (consensual and the guys always looked out gorgeously for her pleasure, also birth control!)

The story was great. Felt a bit rushed in some places, but that didn‘t hurt it at all.

I‘m really looking forward to explore more of the fae history and what Riley really is, what the mating bond is all about, why the fae are here. And also what‘s with the brother and the Gods, her connection to them and and and….I need to know if she‘s really the one the talking sword mentioned in its prophecy!

Broken Lands is a why choose, PNR, elemental magic, academy story that takes place after "the last war" that has left the world a barren wasteland. The Fae have come to our rescue.....or have they?

This is a plot thick story, with a strong FMC, and her 3 MMCs that you just fall for. You can help but root for the fated mates as they take on everything from the Resistance to mythological creatures from a dark dimension.

Will Riley be the key to saving both realms? Will she ever find out if she is Fae or something MORE?

Book 1 ends on a BIG cliffy and I can't wait for book 2!! {insert grabby hands here!!}

OMG, I LITERALLY AM SPEECHLESS. This book was so incredibly good and had me hooked from start to finish . It was fast-paced, but not once was I left confused with what was going on, and the world building was incredible. I loved Riley she is officially one of my fav FMCs ever. The spice had me in a chokehold, and im not typically one to be affected by it. The only complaint is that only 1 of the books is out because that cliffhanger has me desperately waiting for the 2nd book. The book comes out tomorrow. If you don't get it, you will be missing out majorly.

Thank you to Roxy for the ARC

This was such a great introduction to the Fae world of Danann Academy. Riley, on the search for her brother, discovers that she is, in my opinion, the "ultimate power" to put it mildly. During her time here she learns to control her powers a bit more and finds love in possibly more than one connection. Along with great power usually comes those who want to either destroy it or use it for themselves and in this story she encounters people who want to control that power. Whether it is for good or evil remains to be seen as we are left with a shocking cliffhanger.

This story was so wonderful to read and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great action, new bonds being formed and some steamy scenes make this a great five-star read.

I loved this book! I felt the world building and the characters development was really well written and very intriguing. I love the why choose trope that was happening throughout the book as well, ive only ever read one other book with this trope so its still new to me but felt that was well written in the book as well! I cant wait for book 2!
