So freaking good. The end made me cry :( I really didn’t see that coming AT ALL. I should have, but I didn’t and it made me sad but it was a good love story how they came together again.

i was here for the "favorite word?" "you." scene

am i disappointed now? well, for instance, i hated elliot from the very start. i found him rather nosey and though macy found him frank and curious and made her feel good because he didn't act like she was a broken girl whose mom just died, he was quite impolite. i kept waiting for things to happen, for a spark i would feel from this elliot guy, but none of it happened. please consider: i enjoyed the relation between the two families but then i knew that i only felt something when it was about these families. other than me lacking any spark between elliot and macy, i'll say they were rather impulsive and bland.

one thing that kept me going was those times macy said something about how they both fucked up in the past and i was hoping this "fuckedup" was something big. i felt obliged to give this book a chance because i needed to know why. and the aftermath of macy's explanation was so disappointing i knew i should've cried but i didn't. she was constantly saying "yeah let's have fun now and talk about it tomorrow" like SHUT THE HELL UP AND TALK IT THROUGH NOW.
