Listened to this as an audiobook. Blew through this book in like 3 days partially because I had to return it to the library, but also because it was so damn compelling.
Super interesting exploration of 21st century womanhood in the format of a dark comedy. It’s always interesting to read a novel about people who do truly harmful things to one another.
Therapy sessions were super compelling to listen to and I loved the way they were recorded for the audiobook.
Although this novel definitely made me feel a lot of feelings, I doubt I will remember it in 6 months. I think the fact that I am a huge people pleaser made me feel called out (in a good way) by this novel, but also not as connected to its many “gives 0 fucks (but I care a lot)” characters.
