Good YA book with a very loud and important message: the way you treat others matters. Everything you say and do matters. This is probably something all freshman year students should read.

Liked the concept of the book but didn't like the book - does that make sense?
I didn't like the book for one main reason and I'll blame it on the author...I didn't care at all about Hannah, she didn't seem like a real person, I didn't sympathize with her and I didn't feel any empathy for her...this was all Jay Asher's fault, he was the author, it was his job to make me feel something for her and he failed.

I'll give it 3 stars because of the concept and idea of the book and because, while I didn't like the book, it will be a very long time before I forget this book.

Very sad book but it opens your eyes to the truth behind what happens in our kids lives that we are not able to see.

Just off the charts amazing for anyone who works with or knows teenagers or who wants to understand a little bit more about how small actions - or inactions - can create a ripple effect that can profoundly affect others.
