I didn't think to read this before the other EAH books, but I highly recommend doing so. It gives a great look into each character you'll read about, as well as showing the fun different personalities and lifestyles of each of them. It's fun to learn a little about fairytale characters and giving a look into what a child of one might be like.

It was great to see how the narrator wove the different stories together. This would be a great inference exercise. However, if you've read the ever after high books, a few of the stories (or portions of stories) are repeats.

Still, it's a pleasant collection of short stories and kids will love hearing what their favorite characters get up to when they're not at school.

A bunch of fun short stories. Some of them are in the first book of Ever After High, but a number of them are new. Worth reading if you like the other books.

I'd read most of these stories when they first appeared online when EAH launched, so I was interested to see how the new stories would fit into things.

I enjoyed the fact that when read all together the stories have an interwoven storyline (read Kitty's story last even if you jump around for everyone else). Dexter and Darling are both standouts and I'm hoping Darling's next outing lives up to this short story.
