Why did I wait so long to pick up this series? I should've trusted Jamie since I'm in love with the Maddox brothers but no, I was stubborn and waited. I highly enjoyed this series. I loved the storytelling and the action that followed. Claire seems like a girl I want on my squad and Bex sounds like the little brother I would love to have. Jared, *sigh* Jared, you are an amazing man. and now father. One thing did kind of stick out to me was, everyone knew Nina was pregnant, there wasn't a shower or an explanation of what the nursery looked like. Maybe it's just me because I like the detail.

I liked this overall. But I just had to go with it and remember it was just a story Jamie wrote to entertain. Too much of it was contrary to my personal beliefs of heaven/hell. But the book had a lot of action and held my attention.

Excellent books! I read them all three, back to back, and loved them! If you loved Discovery of Witches & Shadow of Night, you'll LOVE these! Great characters and you are totally drawn in to the story.

I felt like there were some plot holes. The ending was rushed, scenes undeveloped.

Although the series and the characters didn't grab me like the ones in beautiful disaster, I have to say that this last book made the series worth reading. I also have to give Jamie props were props are due. This is so different than beautiful and walking disaster. I love that she was able to create a whole different world, vibe, and characters. And I finally realize that even though she wrote both of these series, I really have to stop comparing them. By the end of the book I had a whole new love for the book and its charaters!!!

I enjoyed this series very much. As with every book, I am bummed when I have to leAve the characters. There is always character to build more books. Hint, hint!!!

This series is so girl-ishly terrible that it's AMAZING. Oh man, I could not get enough of it, it was my guilty pleasure!

This was the perfect ending to the series. I also feel this is the strongest and best book in the series. Sure, I loved watching Jared and Nina fall for each other in Providence, but there is a truly epic tone to this book.

The intensity in this book is unmatched. You can almost feel the buildup yourself. You're waiting for the moment when all Hell is going to break loose. Literally. And when it does... Wow! I was astounded with the attention to details and knowledge Jamie wrote with.

Everything was on point for me --- the pacing, characters' actions, PERFECTION. Bex became my favorite character (sorry other Ryels!) as he really grew into his own and became quite a force. I also felt this to be the most emotional book in the series. So many highs and lows, you truly feel like you're part of the story.

I've grown to love these characters and this series will always hold a special place in my heart. Even if you don't love paranormal, I think you can appreciate a love story that focuses a lot on faith.

TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE.
