LOVED this! So many great characters in this book. I’ve been reading more MC books lately but they aren’t usually my favorite. This book just captured my feelings. Lots of great spice too!

i just don't care about anything or anyone is this.
also there were some weird comments with the vibe *deep voice* "yes i love my bros but we're not going to start growing p*ss*s and braiding each other's hair and start talking about our feelings cause we're manly man and man don't talk about their feelings".

So, this was actually my second time reading this book. For some reason I didn't mark it as read the first time around and, I hate to admit this, I had forgotten a lot of what happened and needed a refresher.
Kadence and Nix meet when Z, Nix's son, gets in trouble for fighting with another boy in class. The attraction is instant, from that point the chase is on. What was supposed to be a one time thing eventually leads into a relationship, something that Nix hadn't think he would ever try again after his failed marriage with Z's mother. Thing's heat up when Kadence's ex-fiance comes back into the picture and eventually kidnaps Kadence and her best friend Holly.
I liked how the author set up the ending, it can be read as a stand alone with an HEA, but it also set's you up for the second book with Holly and Sy.
4.5 Stars!
