This book was heartbreaking, but the author writes in a way that you just can’t put it down. The character development and the way the characters weave together is masterful. Will be recommending this book to all.

I didn’t know what to expect other than the story of a school shooting. Many TW for this book.
It was a very weird read, as everything happens in the span of 54 minutes. We get 4 main POVs, alternating, each of them allowing us readers to live the shooting as each of them did. I also really appreciated the in-between chapters with tweets or blog articles, it brought more info and depth to the storyline.
I was scared to find a storyline that would soothe our opinion on the shooter, like forgive him because of what he suffered before, leading to his attack. But the author didn’t write the shooter’s story that way, or at least not in my opinion. We understand his past, and how he got to act upon his feelings, but there is no place for forgiving him for what’s he’s done.
It was a sad story, as expected. I cried quite a few times.
