Spice was decent. Pacing was ok, but I just can't get over
Eve's motivation to unalive herself and how it felt that the boys just straight up replaced Eve with Penelope. For Penelope to go through so much to avenge her sister's death, and then for her to get in a relationship with the boys that her sister died over, it really doesn't add up for me.

Wow just wow. I knew this book was dark, but I didn’t expect it to be this dark. This book has a lot of triggering topics such as suicide, torture, murder, consensual non-consent, fire play, knife play, ect. Please read the author’s note before reading.

That being said, I really enjoyed this book. It wasn’t your typical smut book that there was little to no plot or it got lost. The plot was there and a big part of this book, and the smut was a great bonus. Along with the smut being a bonus, the scenes were explicit and left little room for imagination.

This book had some good plot twist, and some I definitely never saw of it coming. I can’t wait to start book two, and to see what happens next! I highly recommend this series, but again, please read the triggers.

This reverse harem is a bit of a mess.
I loved the FMC because she is strong and fierce.
The boys are well balanced in their depravity (my favorite is Alistair because he is the quiet and the sensitive one).

And yet, this is inconsistent: the sister’s story is clumsily intertwined in the history of this polyamory.
Even if the plot itself is well thought, it escalated way to quickly without making any sense and it is too long to reach the end.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Main TW: suicide, degradation, knife injury, blood, fire… please check all the list. This is a lot.

I am a bit disappointed.
I love the Losers series (Harley Laroux) so much that without wanting too, I wasn’t able to stop myself comparing. And Sick Boys is not worthy.
