So cute and adorable! I laughed a few times, so I think even adults can enjoy this book and its illustrations :) Kids certainly do... my nephew and I spent a few minutes deciding which was our favorite animal.

Lots of opportunities for conversation, and new vocabulary words - like a dromedary vs. a camel? I enjoyed this silly listing of animals disguising themselves as one another but it goes on WAY too long for storytime. I can see this book being shared one-on-one, however, with lots of giggles.

October 2017 - I love how each animal manages to dress up but still looks like itself. The pattern breaks a few times, which always made Ben laugh.

Sad to have to return this one to the library. It's a very silly book about animas dressing as other animals and made both me and my kid giggle madly.

I won a pack of this author's work from the publisher as part of a drawing on the Slice of Life daily writing challenge this March.

My children are older than the intended audience, but because of second language issues are reading below grade level. They really liked this book, and although they kept exclaiming at how long it was, it wasn't a complaint, just a comment. Maybe it's we adults who have trouble staying interested in a playful but plotless book for that long.

Very simple and surprisingly long for how simple the story is. That said the illustrations are sweet and charming and are really what move the story forward. My 5 & 3yr old enjoyed the story

The repetetive pattern of this book would make it a good beginning reader. The illustrations are clever. I think children will enjoy reading for themselves and finding the humor in the story and pictures.

I liked the story and the repetitive progression, but some anomalies (like Little Read Riding Hood) just made no sense.

Neat idea, but too long! May be a good book for kids to revisit overtime though, because they aren't likely to finish it in one sitting.

Gorgeous illustrations and repetitive language makes this a great book for beginning readers. Just when I was starting to grow a bit bored, Dubuc throws in a complication. Just delightful.
