This was a fantastic book. I didn't realize I would enjoy a thriller book as I have never tried to read one. I  surely will try more of these types of books because of this one. The book goes through a lot of different levels of crisis as it starts as a kidnapping that we don't know why is happening. It then goes to being a VIP kidnapping due to who the woman's father is.
It then transitions into a conspiracy community where they are about to break away from the US in Montana because they think the world is ruled by the world government (the UN). It then goes to full terrorism, where the community is going to blow up a van in San Fransisco to kill hundreds, if not thousands, of people to get the press off of their backs.
I didn't think it would go that deep, but holy Hannah, it was a suspenseful journey and a half. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It is one of my favorite reads of 2023.

I loved Die Trying! I'd definitely say that it's one of my favorites I've read so far. The plot and villain were intriguing, though it naturally lent itself to a bit of a slower plot. I found that I didn't mind that so much, though. I also enjoyed that this book introduced us some key pieces of the Reacher backstory that Killing Floor didn't have the time to really get into. This is definitely one of the Reacher books I'm most looking forward to rereading at some point.
