A great series overall!!! Packed with heaps of action, drama and story. The ending was a bit flat but the story overall needed to end. It was fitting in a way because everyone got what they deserved. There were some funny bits and moments that made me go WOW and reminded me why I loved the series as a whole.

Ok, I have to admit, that was not the greatest wrap-up of all time but does this whole story make any realistic sense anyway?

What a ride.

This final volume ends perfectly. I don't think there is a damn thing about it I would change. Preacher is a real treat, and a good example of the type of storytelling regularly achieved in the comic book medium these days. Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon have one hell of a story on their hands.

Preacher is equal parts bizarre and heartfelt, disturbing and triumphant, funny often and downright outrageous. It's a love story. It's the story of how one man set out to make God accountable. To make him answer for the shit-hole of a world he abandoned. It's a story about three friends, their trials and tribulations. And it's a hell of a lot of fun. I recommend it.
