I’ve loved everything Marian Keyes has written, but this seemed pointless. It’s a lot of incoherent (and in parts kind of offensive) nonsense.
I was hoping this would be a pleasant, short catch up on all the books since it’s been a while since I read them… spoiler alert, it’s only the first few pages that were.
Definitely read anything by Marian Keyes, but avoid this unless you get it dirt cheap and have 45mins you need to kill.

Honestly, this was very pointless but it was nice seeing little re caps of references from past books other than that this story was just passing thoughts from Mammy Walsh but it was a nice idea.

A great way to learn more about the Walsh family and what mum thinks of everyone and everything. What a great laugh.

Reading Challenge 2017: A book with a family-member term in the title

Pretty hilarious anthology of anecdotes from the Walsh Family novels (by Marian Keyes), compiled and narrated by the one and the only Mammy Walsh. In my mind Mammy Walsh is Brendan O'Carroll doing Mrs Brown, which makes her even funnier. But, if like me you have very recently read (and in some cases re read) the other books in this series, it was very repetitive (pretty much direct lifting of passages from the other books). I was disapointed there wasn't really anything new here. Marian Keyes is such a brilliant author, I'm am always greedy for more.

I used to be a huge fan of the early Marian Keyes books, especially the ones regarding the Walsh sisters. This particular book, set from the POV of Mammy Walsh, is almost like the ones I loved. Hilarious! Loved it.
