This book helped me understand not just the structure of a business, but how businesses can adapt, change, and grow, and what tools one can use to steward that progress. This is a great resource for understanding basic business strategy and the fundamentals of an organization.

Great bizmodel visualization technique, but the book is mostly filler from page 40 on. Excellent for beginners and it's going to be useful to me as a (beautifully designed) reference to the technique. But I cannot give the whole book more than 3 stars.

First two sections are perfect just as background in building and thinking about business models, and the factors that go into them.
The last three sections are great, but would be much more valuable if you were actually looking at building a new business and/or exploring new business opportunities for your business.
All in all though, a book you have to have on your shelf as a business leader

This book is a great object itself, but it could have been 1/4 of the length and still give you the same information. I created canvases using it and it works well so, nice.

The book may have been innovative when it first saw the light of day, today I thought it lacked any depth. The many examples are nice enough, but I didn't get as much out of it as I hoped. The canvas itself is pretty useful and that's the main thing I did get out of this book: tweaking my own business model by prototyping the hell out of it. Overall I did achieve my purpose, but feel it could have been done with a lot less pages.

This book is well-designed with lots of clever illustrations. The purpose of this book is to demonstrate how to use a Business Model Canvas.
