Picked this up because I was feeling depressy and I resonated with certain poems in here, but others I glimpsed by. Most were very short. Only about a sentence or two, but every few pages we’d get a 14 liner or so. A few of these I really did feel myself within the words on the page, and that’s something I look for in a collection of poetry. Overall I did enjoy this.

Some very powerful content collected here. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting but most of the pages were simply a sentence or just a few words. I wish they had been more like short essays rather.
