It's Jane Eyre. Do you have to read it for a class?

You could have had to read worse books out there.

This is one of those books that is more fun to read if you are debating what's going on with other people. So read it with a book club, a class, your barber, travel agent, or mortician.

Five gloriously shining stars!!! My mind is blown!!!

I put off this book for so long because I was so intimidated by it but it was surprisingly accessible even though I did google a LOT of words at first. I thought because it’s a classic set in the 19th century England I wouldn’t be able to connect with the characters but boy i was wrong. I didn’t fall in love with Jane’s character at first sight but I grew to love her as I keep reading and for Mr. Rochester….I FREAKIN LOVE THAT MAN. I know i know he can be a bit coarse and arrogant and he has many other flaws BUT it doesn’t make him a villain, just a lonely and kind-at-heart human desperate for love. And the plot line is WILD!!! i found my self crying and screaming and in shock with everything that happened. It is slow-paced but dang the story just sort of creeps up on you. The writing is also so poetic and will tug at your heartstring!! Be warned!!

Would definitely re-read in the future to further analyse the writing!
