Much better fiction and prose poetry than last time, but still don't what I love in a collection. The coastal stories were good, especially the clean clam chowder one, but the poetry fell flat nearly every time. A good essay about Pompeii, but the last section about not thinking didn't grab my attention or get me to finish it. This was better than the last Kenyon Review, but not good. Not good enough to make me continue reading the other issues.
