5+ stars!!!

Omg!!! This was an amazing read! It's heartbreakingly beautiful! It's a book about love, life and family but one person has a mental illness that isn't revealed until later in the book. The author did put a trigger warning!

Piper and Evan/Blue are amazing. The whole story is and I love all the characters! I laughed and cried and wanted to break my Kindle but I couldn't put this book down!

"And then there was you, Slayer of my heart, The one I would destroy, Keeper of my heart. You came like a dream, and I snuffed you out. I’d love you if I could, but I don’t know how. I just don’t know how, baby. I’ll make you cry, I’ll make you sigh, and you’ll beg for more. Slayer of my heart, Sweet as sugar, Sexy as sin. You’re just my everything. Then there was you, Keeper of my heart, Wish of my soul. Don’t ever leave, baby, and I’ll never let you go. Just like that, there was you. Keeper of my heart… wish of my soul… Don’t ever let go. You’re my everything."

It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions! There is heartache and so much love in this book though. Piper and Evan are the definition of true love.
Piper is so loyal throughout the whole book.

I love how the mental illness is actually talked about and dealt with in this book. In my opinion it just doesn't happen enough, it gets swept under the rug.

I highly recommend this book! Be prepared! Have tissues and chocolate ready!

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. But I loved it. Carian Cole does a great job evoking emotions from the reader, I really enjoy this story.

What a Book!

It took me a while to think of the words that best describe this book. I read tonnes of books and there’s not many that show the effects on mental health for men. Normally the male in the story is the hero. I loved this book for this reason. If you haven’t read it already, don’t waste anymore time !

5 could not put it down for a second stars!

I finished this book at 1am after reading it all day when I should have been studying! This book brought me all the feels!

Blue/Evan.. oh sweet lord this man is so broken and tortured and also the most amazing person. He has so many irredeemable qualities and then he goes and does something that just makes you root for this guy. His love for Piper was like no other, but the mental anguish he's in leads him down a dark trail of despair and bad choices. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but it's almost like he couldn't help himself. The transformation throughout the whole book for him was beautiful to read!

Piper.. sweet sweet Piper. This woman was so strong when others would have faltered. Her unwavering love for Blue was unmatched. She loves him even when he doesn't love himself. She is patient and caring when I believe anyone else would have given up. She was so steadfast in her decisions and did not let anyone else decide what she should do and I loved that about her!

I rarely read a book about mental illness that I enjoy. There is usually at least one character I want to throw my book at for being stupid, but instead I couldn't put it down long enough to care. These characters suck you in and you just have to keep reading to see what's going to happen and how it will all end. I'm a sucker for a good musician and the ability to get lost in the songs and these were soooo well written and the pain you feel is real. I can not say anything negative about thus book. It is perfect. It renewed my faith in redemption of a person even when they seem like a lost cause.

This book broke me and put me back together all in one. The years of love, loss and heartbreak. The battles Evan faced. This book has every sad plot possible but such a happy ending. I wanted to screem at the pages so many times but couldnt put it down. I feel like it will give me a book hangover for a while.
